These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CurriculaAI (the "Service"), operated by Rochelle Dunbar, trading as CurriculaAI ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
CurriculaAI is intended for adult educators, course creators, and vocational/adult-education professionals. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. You're responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with any policies of your employer or institution if you're using it in a professional capacity.
You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
CurriculaAI uses Anthropic's Claude API to generate curricula, assignments, and related educational content based on the topics, audience details, and reference materials you provide.
AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing any generated content before using it for actual instruction, assessment, or any other purpose. We make no guarantee that generated content is accurate, complete, pedagogically sound, or fit for any particular purpose.
Free plan: limited monthly curriculum and assignment generations, a maximum batch size per request, one saved reference standard, PDF export only, and no format template uploads. Current limits are shown in the app and may change.
Pro plan: $17.99/month (or the price shown at checkout, which may change with notice), billed on a recurring monthly basis through our payment processor, Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase. Pro includes higher monthly generation limits, a larger maximum batch size, unlimited saved reference standards and format template uploads, and PDF/Markdown/Word export.
Cancellation: you can cancel your Pro subscription at any time through the billing portal linked from your account settings, or by deleting your account (which cancels any active subscription automatically). Cancelling stops future billing; you keep Pro access through the end of the period you already paid for.
Refunds: except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. See our Refund Policy for details, or contact us at curriculaai.support@gmail.com if you believe you were charged in error.
Plan changes: we may change plan pricing or limits with reasonable notice to active subscribers. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the new terms.

You retain ownership of the topics, audience descriptions, reference standards, and format templates you upload, and of the curricula and assignments generated for your account. You grant us the license necessary to process, store, and display that content in order to provide the Service to you.
You're responsible for the content you upload — don't include personally identifiable information about students or others beyond what's genuinely necessary for your own lesson or assessment planning.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. This is immediate and permanent: it deletes your curricula, assignments, personas, and reference standards, and cancels any active Pro subscription. This cannot be undone — export anything you want to keep before deleting.
We aim to keep the Service available and reliable but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service depends on third-party providers (Anthropic, Supabase, Paddle, Railway) — outages on their end may affect us. See our Privacy Policy for how these providers process your data.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that generated content will be accurate, error-free, or suitable for any specific educational, regulatory, or compliance purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on AI-generated content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll make reasonable efforts to notify active users of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
